Let’s see, how to accurately convey how amazing this tune is… I could say it’s “one of my favorite oldskool tunes ever” , but I probably say that about half the tunes I post. I could go on about how it perfectly marries just the right type of piano part (euphoric but not too cheesy) with stripped down, deep, bass-y, almost pre-jungley vibes. I could try to explain how the massive repetition of a few key elements (an amen, a melody reminiscent of mr monday “future”, a couple of vocal samples and some deep bass) somehow drive these sounds deep into your brain making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. But if I said all that stuff, I’d probably be hyping it too much, and with a simple tune like this I’m sure most people would scan the audio and not even see what the big deal. So, pretend I didn’t say any of that. Download it, give it a few listens, give it a few more listens – see if it worms its way into your brain the way it did for me.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS TUNE AND EVERYTHING ELSE YOU HAVE POSTED. YOU AND THE OWNER OF PURE CLUB CLASSICS HAVE RIGHTFULLY SAVED MY TASTE IN MUSIC WITH THESE WONDERFUL HARDCORE, DNB, BREAKBEAT AND HOUSE CLASSICS. I CAN NOT SHOW ENOUGH GRATITUDE FOR WITHOUT YOU I WOULD HAVE NEVER DISCOVERED THIS AMAZING MUSIC THAT DEFINES THE WORDS RHYTHM AND SOUL.
Such an amazing tune, this. Just pure simple-but-effective feel good hardcore. I taped this off Kiss 100 back in ’92 and never knew the name for quite a few years. I finally picked up a copy on vinyl in about 2005. I always thought the vocals were “Benjy the noop dragon”, and “you got to be a duvet”!
Legend! Thanks for
shedding light on such a beauty, and big respect for uploading it.
