Kemical Kids – Oh No

Kickin Records put out some great releases, including some all-time anthems like Messiah “Temple of Dreams” and “There is No Law”. Some of their best releases though are later EPs on the label. Of these, many are in-demand now, mainly including releases by Grant Nelson under various guises (Wishdoka, Ruff Rider, Twin Bass, etc). Here’s one not by him that tends to get overlooked. Anyone in the States looking to check out this label might want to nab this sampler which was co-released with Instinct Records in the States (Moby’s old label). This sample contains “Oh No” as well as several other good tracks from the label which were released on the “Kickin Mental Detergent 2” comp.

  1. This EP really deserves a mentioning. I bought it when it was released and it remained quite unknown for years (Except the track “Oh No”). All 4 tracks are excellent! Definitely 5/5 for me… 😉
