This track is probably a lot more well known than most stuff I post, but I’ve had it at the front of my crates for a while and it’s still a relatively small label release so up it goes. Before Dillinja helped spearhead the whole crazy tearout banger style of DNB, he did quite a massive number of tracks in 93/94 (mostly 94), with a fantastic hit/miss ratio for those tunes… “Deep Deadly Subs” is no doubt one of his most well known. The track name is appropriate here, bypassing the nasty chopped amens of many of his other tracks of the era, instead providing deep bassy think choppage atop extremely liberal sampling of Reese’s “just want another chance”. Even though hearing the original samples does take a bit of the wind out of the sails of this tune, it’s still a “beyond classic classic” that needs to be dl’d / tracked down on vinyl.

I have all of these Deadly Vinyl 12″s. All of them are worth buying without a doubt.
Stone cold classic. You’re right about the sampling but I still love it. AWOL 3 time Randall megamix rewind business 🙂
