Oops, I forgot to post about this earlier… no big deal since there’s not many Boston people who read this anyway, but worth a shot… I’m going to be selling records at the Together Music Festival tommorow. I’ll definitely have some oldskool there (mainly doubles, etc), but also lots of assorted house, dance, whatever. Lots and lots of $1 or $2 stuff great for sampling (the reason I bought it to begin with), maybe even free if you buy something else. There’s definitely going to be some gems hidden though, not just throwaway stuff.
standard promo text follows:
The 3rd annual Get Together is going to be pouring out the doors of the Together Center on Saturday, April 7th! This year, Together Festival’s signature daytime event will provide a centralized meeting place for local artists, vendors, and music lovers.
The Together Center will be offering vinyl records from the collections of Brent Still Life, DJ DC, HouseWerk, and Dev/Null and interactive pieces by music software and hardware developers like Music Studio Direct, CEMMI, and Dubspot. Local street wear vendors Koalacore Clothing and Kush Groove Clothing will be mixed in with art by Blair St. Onge, jewelry and accessories from the Feather Forge and more. Need to rest your dancing shoes and recharge your batteries? Come kick back at the Yogibo lounge stocked with Red Bull, Vitamin Water, Pretzel Chips, and Food Should Taste Good. Outside, look for the Get Together take over of the Central Square graffiti wall and some beautiful members of the Boston Hoop Troop.
Come relax with old friends and new while enjoying some fresh local talent. Oh by the way, Joe Bermudez and De Qualia are just some of the DJs presented by UnHeardUv.
