I’ve kept this site as bare bones as possible for the past 4 years, trying to keep it content-driven (all about the tunes). So I guess it’s time I spiff it up a bit… or at least hire a buddy of mine to do it. I’ll definitely try to keep it as usable as it is now, mainly I’ll just be giving more prominence to things like interviews which sadly get lost amidst the day to day tune posts.
If anyone has any other suggestions for neat features etc, or wants to point me to some super flashy amazing wordpress themes etc, feel free feel free to drop me a line or leave a comment below.
It would be nice to have some sort of chronological order of all the music you have put up here on a paginating page of some sort. Focus on making the material on the site more available and easier to find. I will give you a shout if I find something that suits this site!

please don’t do too much to it, especially visually. keep it as bare and streamlined as possible. even more so than it already is!
Yeah I’ll definitely try to make more interesting ways to connect through the music… part of that might either be me going back through and standardizing / putting WAY more tags in to describe the music in each post (not just year but genre, artist, all aspects of the music), so if you like one thing you can click and see similar stuff based on any aspect of a tune really.
With the Download Them All thing – LOL dunno about those “you should make a feature on your website so I don’t have to visit your website” suggestions. There’s no ads here, the only thing I get out of the site are people checking it regularly, leaving comments (which they wouldn’t do if they could leech the site in 1 click), and linking to /”liking” pages on fb/twitter/ etc. That being said, I’m definitely going to explore other ways to present the tracks, like auto-compiling an audio stream of all tunes on the site (where you could maybe somehow navigate to the entry if you liked something?). I also might work out a way in-line for people to go through, find records they like, and sort of “bulk queue” the tracks for download with a single click (like a checkbox), then at the end click one button and the whole thing gets shipped over as a ZIP.
Hey pal, I want to give a big thank you for everything you have provided over the past four years. This site has given me insight into days long since past and blogs such as this are almost non-existent. If you need any help with the new UI design I am more than happy to help. I have been doing web development for a number of years and have, over the course of the last two years, been developing and designing a number of WordPress sites. Just a suggestion. i love this blog and i only come here for your lovely 320 rips and info on the release so i dont mind what the site looks like.
if i could get you to change anything then it would be to post full eps instead of one or two tracks from an ep.after all we cannot buy these tunes from the net so you cant see anyone complaining of copyright

Great site, be good to have sample breakbeats sampled off the old records in WAV/AIF format. Would be nice to have an example of all the Amen derivatives as WAV etc.
