Been slacking on the posts the past week, I’m actually writing this one from a bus en route back from NYC! I’ll probably do another when I get back, in the meantime here’s a nice tune by Matt Quinn aka Optical of Ed Rush & Optical fame. “Losing My Feeling” sounds a bit proto-happy hardcore towards the beginning ala his tunes as “Just Another Artist”, but then some weird time stretchy business kicks in during the breakdown along with some frantic hiphop vox 4 mins in, which seal the deal for me. Cool tune, great record worth nabbing even if it is a bit rare.
