Here’s a remix by DJ Rap and Voyager (plus supposedly an uncredited contribution by Lennie De Ice) of a tune originally written by Rap and Aston for her Proper Talent label. While the original of “Digable Bass” is already great, this remix really builds it up to new heights. A lush half-tempo intro leads into a steady groove, which in turn builds to an amazing heavyweight amen flangefest of a drop. Though not her most famous tune, this remix featured on several CDs and was played by Hype and Ray Keith (among others) back then. Excellent break processing, wicked atmospherics and a solid bassline make this remix NOT one to sleep on.
