OK, this is definitely not the standard type of tune I would post here, but seeing as it’s deep into summer, this site could use some feel good piano house. Here’s a cheeky Italian (remix? revamp? knockoff?) of the already-cheddar classic Love Decade – So Real. If you haven’t seen the video to “So Real” before, prepare to LULZ 4real (so real so real so real):
I probably prefer this X-Groove version to the original since it bumps up the euphoric pianos a bit and gets rid of the other parts. Still not something I’d be confident throwing into a set but I’ve definitely had this version in my head a bit as of late… Also, given the fact it’s not listed anywhere as a remix, for all I know this could be an unknown remix played in mixes whcih has yet to be ID’d. The Love Decade video is an amazing cheese-fest that almost appears to be a piss-take but I don’t think it is. Even funnier is a hardcore version that is featured on the UK Satellite Channel, Clubland, that features a sped up edit of the video. Completely hilarious and it has to be seen to be believed.
I think the x-groove one would be just fine in a light mix. No shame in that
