Marvellous Cain & Bizzy B – Everyday

Just got back from a great Cali trip, thanks to everyone in LA & San Francisco for the good time + great shows! Also good to finally meet my net-buddy Dave in person.. be sure to check his blog It’s After The End Of the World for all sorts of interesting tracks.

While I was away, I nabbed a fair bit of good vinyl (not much oldskool), including a few absurdly rare releases… unfortunately, most of the rave related stuff is in the mail back to me since I was too lazy to carry it around. Here’s a nice little EP I got towards the end of the trip though, in the dollar bin of Amoeba. Props to any US junglists who recognize this one, as it was the first tune in An early Dieselboy Sub Base mix CD, which was also one of the first jungle mix CDs I got. Sick 96 hardstep stuff, a steppy “Life Could” breakbeat and that classic 96 bass sound. A little bit later than most stuff I post on here, and a far cry from the crazy mashed breaks Bizzy was originally known for…. but just a super effective 1996 track, which also mixes well with choppy break stuff since it’s so stripped down.

Here’s where I’d normally include a download, and I actually ripped the vinyl and got ready to post it… but then noticed Bizzy has it for sale on his site. I haven’t bought from his mp3 store yet, but huge respect to Brian for getting his tunes for sale digitally… So, instead of downloading a scratchy vinyl rip, check the streaming version below on youtube, and click the link below to buy it.
