Someone was asking me to post even more 92 stuff, so even though I think I’ve been posting plenty of that stuff lately (see: JBL + Bigga post), here’s a somewhat hard to come by EP from that year. DJ DR J was one of the people involved with the 3 Sample – “Streets of Rage” single, as far as I know this is his only solo release. Label art says this is engineered by DJ MASSIVE, I’m not sure whether that’s the Alan Clarke / PSI Division DJ Massive as clarified in the comments here, or the Black Market Records / Labello Blanco DJ Massive. Either way, this single has a lot of good sounds in it layered up every which way, gets a bit sloppy at points but all in good fun. I probably spin the other side more often since the flip is much more stripped down / plays nicely with other tracks, but for home listening this main mix is the one.

That would have been me Pete…. 😉
Quality tune, not heard this before!! 🙂
bit of a long shot i know, but any idea where the female vocal sample is from?
