Here’s a fun early breakbeat happy hardcore track from 94 – if it was written in 92 or 93 it would have just been considered a normal oldskool track. But since it came out in 94, at which point the split into jungle and hhc was much more palpable, it’s clear which side of that divide this track falls on. Despite the relentlessly happy vocals and melody though, the 4 beat is far from pronounced and it still seems like it could be a fun track to play with earlier oldskool stuff.

This was in a box of vinyl I bought years ago. All three tunes are worth playing although personally I rather like ‘Keeping Me High’ with its nice apache break.

Kinda weird how the breakbeats sloppily overlap. Sounds kinda trainwrecky/gallopy. Probably tough to mix and would sound like DJ ineptitude.
Can you guys help me where does the original vocal come from or what does she acutally sing? I want to get the acapella cause I’m a producer and i want to make a Vibes & Wishdokta style Happy Hardcore tune by using this as an inspiration. Pretty good blog btw! I love this tune since i found it here.
