I hope I’m not pushing my luck posting this track up as the artist is obviously still huge (just saw him DJ a couple months ago) and Lucky Spin has a select few tracks by him sale digitally on sites like Dogs On Acid and Beatport… but this tune definitely isn’t for sale, and probably won’t be as it was limited to 100 copies / available only for sale at the Lucky Spin record store.
To be honest, “Pressure” almost sounds like more of a fun studio session than a simple catchy cohesive track, but I mean that in a good way. There’s a lot of nice stuff going on which is all layered up in various combos – choppy and pitch shifted beats, a catchy scratch pattern, some jazz piano melody, squelchy synths, etc. All in all a nice EP and quite a rarity these days!

someone mentioned that Lucky Spin might come back. considering this 2deep (trace and pete) project it almost seems plausible.
