Eoad – Move Me

Another sub label of ibiza records, “Future Sounds” only had a couple of releases and this one is quite varied, It mentions the “Belgravia Workshop” I have no idea what happened there maybe a reader could shed some light on that for us. Side 2 track 2 is like a mashup of lots of famous tracks of the time called set u free this may get its own post in the future.

I will include a picture of the label and stickers as this seems quite rare – Also I have decided just to post a low quality clip as these warnings look scary :[

  1. Great site!
I got into jungle about 93-94 so a lot of the stuff posted is a bit before my time, but great to catch up with it…

My dad used to work for Haringay Council and once met the guy that ran Ibiza records (I can even remember his name was Paul!) fixing the guys heating at his house. They got talking and he mentioned what he did, my Dad told him I was into all that kind of music and he gave him a stack of Ibiza records. I still have them, there were a couple 10s and some older 12s, don’t think they are particularly rare.

    Anyway, just thought I’d share!
    Keep up the good work.

  2. is that a Joy Division sample in there? not the main break, but the fill w/the Stephen Morris drum sound that comes in at 0:06 and keeps popping up here & there. might be off an earlier New Order song as well. anyone want to confirm or deny this?

I’ve never heard a jungle or ardkore track that sampled JD though I suppose it would make sense given Morris’ famously metronomic precision.
