Big respect to the John and condolences to his family… aside from the ragga jungle connection mentioned above, Reel 2 Reel was quite a cool label full of some choice lesser known grimey hardcore. He and his 2 brothers are three of the most underrated producers in oldskool in my opinion, possibly due to not releasing all that much material on the “biggest name” 91-95 labels, though they put out a staggering number of tunes and were involved from the very earliest days.
