Even though X-mas is over in most places, I’ve still got a few tracks left to post…. let’s see if I can keep this going through Boxing Day \ud83d\ude42
\nThis EP is by the two gents who did “Hyper Go-Go”, an early hardcore\/house\/techno act (one of those ones where it’s hard to say for certain which category they fall in). I remember Hyper-Go Go best from being on one of those bargain bin “Now That’s What I Call Hardcore” CD comps I got years and years ago. alongside “Mr Kirk’s Nightmare”, etc. This EP is a bit harder to find, probably smaller press, I Found it lurking in an MVE basement some years back. This tune in particular is very much in the typical hardcore techno \/ RAVE vein, ala T99 etc. You get the “Hardcore You Know the Score!” vocals from (you guessed it!) Hypnotist – Hardcore You Know the Score, “Somebody say oh yeah!” and a number of other classic well rinsed samples. Nothing too out there, but a fun underappreciated rave EP.
