I picked up this Sir Spence – Non-Continuity EP<\/a> recently, and at first I wasn’t totally sold on it. I finally got around to giving it some more listens recently, and it has really grown on me… to the point that it’s one of my better finds of 2008. The EP title is appropriate as there’s so much going on in these songs and so much variety from track to track; from catchy rave riffs in one tune, to LFO-panned opera samples portamento’d into yodeling in another. I couldn’t decide which tracks to post, so here’s the whole thing in a zip file. B2 “Life Will Mean Nothing” is the most (only?) well known one, as it was featured in an old Fabio set.
