No mega-obscurity today, instead here’s a well known feel good 92 track. Straight ahead and uplifting, I’ve always loved the little breakdowns and structure of this – nothing super out of the ordinary but definitely some effective builds throughout. New Decade (Paul Smailes) did a number of big EPs 92-93: the 4 New Decade EPs in that timeframe (“Beyond Understanding”, “Get the Message”, “Blind Vision”, “Statue of Gold”) are all worth picking up. There’s also the heavily in-demand Out of Order “Dark Sheep” white label, which I’ve never managed to nab, but the rest are relatively cheap and easy to find… I must have 2 or 3 copies kicking around of this EP and some of the others. The b side “ABC(remix)” is another great tune, sampling MBM “Helter Skelter” and (if I remember right) a track by Goblin to good effect.
