Here’s an unreleased Diplomat tune from 1993 that’s been stuck in my head lately…. total amiga madness!! In spite of the low-fi nature of the video stream\/rip (and probably the track itself) , it’s a REALLY well sequenced tune, and sounds like a lot of care went into writing it… probably more so than in plenty of other hardcore\/jungle tracks which actually made it to vinyl in 93.<\/p>\n

Over the tune’s 7.5 minutes, you get diva vox, rave pianos, crazy hoovers, and vocoded vocal snippets which gradually turn more melodic until the song shifts underneath them into full-on bouncy early happy hardcore. Diplomat doesn’t even remember ever ripping this tune to mp3, and said it never made it to dub, he just has it on cassette somewhere. Somehow though a 128kb mp3 ended up on Soulseek some years ago and someone was nice enough to up it to youtube. <\/p>\n
