Someone asked me to post this recently when I posted another 3 sample track<\/a>. I think I actually prefer “High On Life” to “Streets of Rage”, despite “Streets” being the better known and more in-demand track. Still, it’s a good tune which warrants posting. The other thing which made me want to post this was that a friend<\/a> recently pointed me to a track on the Streets of Rage 2 soundtrack, which sounds like it’s using the classic Landlord “I like it” \/ Inner City “Good Life” riff as its basis! You can check out the relevant track below, and any video game music fans should click through to the “Streets Of Rage” fan site below which features soundtracks for all the games (apparently written by one of the best\/ most well respected video game music authors of the early 90s).
