I guess it makes sense when considering he labelled it as an “oldschool” set not “oldschool hardcore” that it’s mostly bigger techno/house classics… Still, for anybody who has seen footage of him spinning circa 92-93 and considering that this came from the guy who really helped cement the fundamentals of hardcore with his success-n-effect/landlord mashup track, it’s hard not to be a little bit dissapointed.

As for what he does play, there’s plenty of good house/techno in there (“Red 2” , Bassheads “Anybody Out There”, that sick Frank De Wulf track, etc). The only moment that really bugs me is Cox spinning a brand new Prodigy track while simultaneously yelling “oh yes oh yes back in the day right here”… simply not true.
<del datetime="2009-11-19T15:22:46+00:00">Here’s a partial tracklist which was posted along w/ the mix, seems pretty legit up until 40 mins in. There’s definitely some tracks not listed after that point but I kind of lose interest by then so I didn’t bother to add to it. If anybody wants to listen to the rest though, feel free to leave a comment.</del> Thanks to BunkerHeadz from Discogs for completing the tracklist.

http://depositfiles.com/en/files/086lrdat3

01.
