{"id":1572,"date":"2009-10-01T10:30:54","date_gmt":"2009-10-01T17:30:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogtotheoldskool.com\/?p=1572"},"modified":"2009-10-01T10:30:54","modified_gmt":"2009-10-01T17:30:54","slug":"aphrodite-raw-motion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogtotheoldskool.com\/?p=1572","title":{"rendered":"Aphrodite &#8211; Raw Motion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s an all-time classic that some of you (mostly people in the states) probably know this track from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.discogs.com\/Various-Speed-Limit-140-BPM-The-Sounds-Of-London-Hardcore-Techno\/master\/6244\">Speed Limit 140BPM comp<\/a> on Moonshine, a comp which exposed a LOT of Americans to hardcore\/jungle just as this label&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.discogs.com\/Various-Happy-2b-Hardcore-Chapter-Two\/release\/154369\">Happy 2B Hardcore<\/a> comps exposed a lot of people to happy hardcore.  This track is far from a simple anthem though.. it&#8217;s got excellent cut up drums ala other early Aphrodite \/ Urban Shakedown jams (see: <a href=\"http:\/\/blogtotheoldskool.com\/?p=27\">Moonwalk EP<\/a> previously posted here), as well as catchy hiphop vocal snippets.
