Here’s another personal favorite from 92 – nice piano and female vocals, less anthemy and euphoric than other stuff I’ve posted lately. The drums are pretty low-fi and muted, but the vocals and music more than make up for it.<\/p>\n

According to discogs, Sub Terra was Jan Citadel of Kaos and Simon Carter (aka Crystal Distortion, who contributed to such Citadel of Kaos tracks as “shut up and listen”). I actually thought this was by A-Sides for quite a while due to the “drop the bass” sample and the fact that my copy of “Burn Cali Weed” has this on the B-side, but it turned out that my copy of that single was this mispress<\/a> which has tracks from two different singles on it. Whatever release you get it on, this is a wicked tune… if anybody has this single<\/a> by Sub Terra, I’d be really curious to hear some clips from it.
